DIALOGUE, YOUR VOCABULARY
|
|
Do you wish to learn to communicate in a foreign language rapidly? How can you achieve your objective in 5 or 10 days even if you are a complete beginner? |
|
In most language schools, the focus is put, explicitly or not, on the teaching of grammar.
|
This is usually a difficult obstacle to overcome. Grammatical structures in the target language usually require a restructuration of the way you think. They require you to change your logic and adapt the specific logic of that language. This shift can force you, without understanding why, to give up your own representations, and your way of perceiving and describing the world. Like many students, before their DialoguE course, you can be easily demotivated. Either you give up learning or you will double your efforts without noticing any real progress. You have the unpleasant feeling of stagnation. |
|
As grammar dominates in conventional teaching, the vocabulary used is often general and rarely adapted and therefore hardly interesting.
It suffices to look at, if need be, at unrealistic examples in grammar books, and artificial or sometimes inadequate phrases found in course books. |
DialoguE helps you to take small steps, not by prioritising the study of grammar, but by using the power of words. |
WHICH VOCABULARY?
YOURS FROM DAY ONE. |
We all have our own set of vocabulary. We all like talking, communicating, chatting about our interests, hobbies, pet subjects and daily activities. |
DialoguE therefore uses your set of touristic, specialised, professional etc. vocabulary. It is you who chooses it. No type of vocabulary is excluded. Are you passionate about boxing, your horse, wine, your ultra-sophisticated profession? This vocabulary, that is close to your heart, will allow you to make the maximum amount of progress in a minimum amount of time. |
Many schools refuse to teach you specialised vocabulary if you have not yet reached an Intermediate level. DialoguE invites you to learn your specialised vocabulary from day one of your course, even if you are a complete beginner. |
|
PERSONALISED VOCABULARY
FOR MOTIVATION |
By using vocabulary that you like, vocabulary that is most useful in your eyes, you can feel liberated. Each moment of your study time becomes enjoyable. You will forget the difficulties and the efforts that are to be made. Lessons will always seem too short, and you will feel your progress from one minute to the next. You will measure your progress yourself. Your hunger for learning will become insatiable. |
PERSONALISED VOCABULARY
FOR GRAMMAR |
Speaking about subjects that interest you distracts you from grammatical difficulties. You "forget" the difficult, even "impossible", structures of the language that you are learning. You will painlessly assimilate the differences in logic, in mentality and in the way thoughts are structured. As with your mother tongue, the new grammar gets assimilated discreetly and becomes second nature. Usually forbidding, at least in traditional teaching, grammar, at DialoguE, becomes a tool, an ally that helps you to give nuance to your thoughts.
|
PERSONALISED VOCABULARY
FOR COMMUNICATION |
|
Thanks to vocabulary that motivates you, you will communicate quickly and well. You will soon become talkative about subjects that you are passionate about. You will attract the attention of those around you. You will earn admiration and you will be listened to. You may still make mistakes (learning to speak a foreign language perfectly takes more than one or two weeks), but those mistakes will go, so to speak, unnoticed. What you are saying is so engaging that your listeners rarely notice your mistakes or not at all. And above all, you will hardly ever make cultural blunders. You will speak naturally, like a native speaker. |
PERSONALISED VOCABULARY
FOR RAPIDITY AND TIME SAVING |
Learning a foreign language is a long-term undertaking. We easily forget how long it took us to speak our mother tongue. We forget that we continue to learn it every day. |
We cannot dedicate as much time to the learning of another language. However, learning to communicate in a specific area and learning to fulfil specific tasks is feasible, and in less time than we imagine. |
In fact, learning the vocabulary that we need is the solution, and at DialoguE, this enables us to achieve our goals in one or two weeks, even if we are complete beginners. |
